Lock Plate
This lock plate (part number AC15072-03J01) is an aftermarket replacement used inside forklift oil pumps and drive assemblies to retain bolts or shafts in their installed position. The plate is bent or staked into place after torque so that vibration cannot loosen the fastener it secures. Rebuilders replace the lock plate on every reassembly, since a reused plate may not hold its lock feature reliably. Installing a fresh plate is cheap insurance against fastener loosening inside a critical pump or drive assembly.
