Buffer Ring

Buffer rings sit inside hydraulic cylinders ahead of the primary seal, absorbing pressure spikes and protecting the rod seal from damage during heavy load events. When a forklift cylinder starts to weep or fails to hold load, a full seal kit, including a fresh buffer ring, is the proper repair.
