Hollow Pin
This pin with hole is a slotted or cross-drilled retention element used on forklift assemblies where a cotter pin, safety wire, or secondary retainer passes through the pin to prevent it from working out of the joint. Service techs replace these during disassembly when wear, shear damage, or removal damage prevents reuse. The cross-hole alignment matters for fitting the secondary retainer.
