Lock Washer

This lockwasher provides anti-rotation retention under a bolt head or nut on vibration-prone forklift joints, preventing the fastener from backing off in service. Mechanics replace lockwashers at every disassembly because reused split-ring lockwashers lose spring temper and may not provide bite against the mating surface during reassembly. A reused lockwasher is barely better than no lockwasher at all. Sold as an aftermarket replacement, contact us to verify inner diameter, outer diameter, and material before ordering, since lockwashers vary in split style, tooth pattern, and material thickness, and substituting between styles changes the locking force at the joint under operating vibration.
