Friction Disc
This friction disc transfers torque in a forklift transmission, clutch pack, or brake assembly, depending on the application. Service techs replace friction discs when wear thins the lining below spec, when glazing reduces friction coefficient, or when contamination from a leaking seal has soaked the lining and dropped holding capacity. A worn friction disc causes slipping and creep complaints. Sold as an aftermarket replacement, contact us to verify outer diameter, inner diameter, thickness, and spline count before ordering, since friction discs in similar nominal sizes can have different spline patterns and substituting between them will not engage with the mating hub.
