Suction Strainer
This strainer filters large debris from the hydraulic or fuel suction line before it reaches the pump, protecting the pump from catastrophic ingestion of metal chips, gasket fragments, or other contaminants. Service techs replace strainers during reservoir cleaning, hydraulic system overhaul, or after a known contamination event. A bypassed or torn strainer destroys a hydraulic pump quickly. Sold as an aftermarket replacement, contact us to verify mesh size, port thread, and overall dimensions before ordering, since strainers built for fuel suction service should not substitute for hydraulic strainers where the mesh micron rating and pressure drop characteristics are different.
