This grease nipple is an aftermarket replacement zerk fitting for forklift chassis, steering, and mast lubrication points. Lube techs replace nipples whenever the check ball seizes, threads strip, or the hex rounds off during PM service. A failed nipple is a small part with outsized consequences because a missed grease cycle accelerates wear on the joint it serves.
