Needle Bearing
This needle bearing carries a rotating or oscillating shaft load in a tight envelope where a wider bearing geometry will not clear, used in forklift transmission cases, transfer drives, and steering linkages. Service techs replace these whenever inspection reveals roller scarring or housing fretting, since worn needles destroy the shaft they ride on quickly. Replacing the bearing alone is cheaper than replacing the shaft.
