Low-Pressure Olive
This low-pressure olive seats between a tube and compression nut for sealing fuel, vacuum, or low-pressure hydraulic returns where full-pressure olives are unnecessary. Forklift technicians use these on return lines, breather plumbing, and instrumentation tubing. Because the olive crushes on first installation, it must be replaced any time the fitting is disassembled or the seal cannot be relied upon. Sold as an aftermarket replacement, contact us to verify the tube outer diameter and material before ordering, since olives sized for low-pressure plumbing should not be substituted into high-pressure hydraulic circuits where they will fail under load.
